Erin Hameroff
Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (she/her/hers)
I bring an open and sincere heart to the area of mental health. My aim in working with others is to create a safe space for your moments of struggle along with your moments of optimism. I strive to guide you through difficult times and to help celebrate your big milestones both in and out of the mental health space. And lastly, my role is to collaboratively explore and create a plan with you that helps reveal a path to reduce your suffering and find emotional peace.
I am a dual-certified nurse practitioner in both psychiatric mental health and adult-gerontology. I have had the honor to spend the last four years working with people struggling with substance use. It was during this work where I gained a true appreciation for the need for better mental health care services not only among those with substance abuse difficulties but in our communities in general. This prompted my eager return to the classroom to learn how to more fully care for individuals who are struggling. I am currently working towards my Doctor of Nursing to better understand how social determinants of health and the larger systems of healthcare play into the health and well-being of individuals.
I believe that every single individual, regardless of past decisions or present struggles, is deserving and worthy of respect and high-quality mental healthcare.
